A record number of sixteen volunteers took part in a church and churchyard spring clean on 19th March, which happily was a stunningly sunny day. An enormous amount of overgrowth was cleared, graves were strimmed and weeded, grass mowed, yew trees shaped and a bonfire lit.  Inside, the church is now immaculate, polished, hoovered, swept and dusted.  It was a huge amount of collective effort and leaves everything in excellent order for the year.  Drinks and home made flapjacks and biscuits were very kindly donated and demolished, while the happy gathering chatted in the sun.
